weekend in review

This weekend took us to Hamilton for the annual Three french hens Christmas market . I have to say it was a great two days for both trading and a small mini break with the kids . Has been crazy times a La de dah kids with baby O being ill with ear infections and the crazy Christmas trading however I would not have it any other way .

The things you find on our mini road trips always amaze me and the small town of Tarrington did not disappoint . Check out there festive decorating of Hay bales aren't they brilliant ! What is your favourite I cannot decide between Humpty Dumpty or the wind mill ? What is your favourite ?

4 day road trip

After a four day road trip to with two small children it has been quite the adventure. The kids are great travels they really do surprise me at how well they travel and i love a road trip . To all that dropped by to Mathilda's market in Adelaide and said hello I want to say a huge thankyou for your support this was our first Adelaide market. Please find some of the happy snaps from our trip and also some great places to visit . South Australia we will be back !

First day we set out cruising around first stop Victor Harbour. This place is a great place to take the kids . We headed over to Granite Island on the causeway we walked with a pram a great way to get around and stretch the legs . There is also a fantastic park close by . We didn't see any penguins or whales but Our 3 year old loved the adventure .

Next stop we where off to explore where the Murray meets the Ocean at Goolwa warf and we where not disappointed with some very cute coffee shops overlooking the warf . Unfortunatley the kids where asleep at this point so take away coffee it was .

What road trip through South Australia would be complete with out a visit to a winery . we visited the Howard Hill winery for a quick sampling and a purchase to stock up the wine cupboard .

Last stop before heading back to Adelaide for the night was Handorf and we wish we had spent a night here . A very quaint little village with many gift shops to browse and enjoy . A visit here is a must I felt like I had stepped back to living in Europe .

This road trip from adelaide is easy to do with kids and plenty of great things to stop along the way and do . Tomorrow I will update the last leg of our journey . Have you been to adelaide ? What are your favourite places ?
