Escaping the cold

We have arrived and for the last few days we have been in Thailand part business sourcing trip part family holiday. It was a busy few days before we left organising our little business to leave behind. We have however left it in some very capable hands so for anyone wondering it is business as usual with our web shop .

 Travelling with kids definitely changes the dynamics of travel but I have to say it has been great and super rewarding .

Some great things have come out of our visit to Bangkok both a mixture of business and pleasure :

-Already we have managed to team up with some amazing makers for some new and exciting projects .

-We visited a great aquarium in Siam centre Bangkok well worth a visit . One of the boys favourite things so far and they are still talking about the giant crabs and they where giant . Also served as some great inspiration for our next range Ocean creatures anyone ?

- We mastered the public trains although crowded the boys loved riding the train system was a real novelty .

- The kindness we have been shown by the  Thai people has been overwhelming .People have gone out of there way to help us on and off the train with the kids , Stopped and shown us directions , and one guy even gave us his train ticket and showed us how to purchase more tickets with the machine .So far it has made travelling with the kids in Thailand very comfortable.

-We stayed at the Novotel in Bangkok and I can highly recommend it . Great location train stop very close , great size rooms and a fantastic buffet breakfast .
