Beautiful knitted bean bags

I am so excited to be launching this new product . It has taken a little while to get it exact and we are so thrilled with the outcome of our beautiful knitted bean bags . Our bean bags are all 100 % cotton and we have done them in two jacquard designs. We want to test that people love them as much as we do . Our bean bags are a piece of kids furniture that fits with adult decor without looking out of place . My boys have road tested our samples and they love the comfort the design brings when they read a book or watch a movie. Mummy and daddy are also very happy to have a nice piece of kids furniture around. Now on to some practical information about our bean bags: How many beans do I need to fill my kids beanbag? On average however, you will require approximately 150 litres of beans ( one full bag of beans). Where can I find the beans to fill my beanbag ? Our beanbags are quite simple to fill and the beans very easy to find. You can easily buy the beans from stores such as Spotlight, Kmart, Target or Big W. Washing can be done by a cool hand wash . We also advise that you use a bean bag liner .Liners or inserts are available separately, as not all of our customers want the liner/inner. The liners simply sit inside the beanbag cover. This is an added safety feature as beans cannot escape if the zip of the beanbag was to come open slightly, and also makes it easier for when you choose to wash the beanbag cover. We advise purchasing a net bag prior to filling with beans as this will ease the pain of washing . We hope you love our bean bags as much as we do . Would love to hear your thoughts ? Our bean bags are now avaliable through our website here . If you would like to purchase for christmas please do so now as we only have done very limited runs .

A snowy Father's day

It has been a crazy few busy weeks and there are no signs of slowing down . I hope everyone had a lovely Father's Day weekend and you managed some very serious Dad time . We celebrated with a day trip to the snow. It was the first time the boys had seen snow .For our 4 year old he loved it and could not get enough of it - our 19 month old a little to young to enjoy the fun.

Line design

My latest love is line art . Line art with decals as it has been done in this Candy shop in melbourne found here . The simple concept is so effective in creating the feeling of fantasy . The simple black and white background with the pops of colour really do feel like you have wandered into a scence of Alice In Wonderland . The other brilliant line artwork has been used in Seed's latest spring / summer launch . This time the line effect has been created with colourful tape - however creating the same illusion of fantasy and yet another scene from Alice in Wonderland . What do you think ? Do you have a current obsession that you keep seeing around ?

Mini break part 2

I do apologise upfront if I bore you with the happy snaps - but it really was just a great family day out for all of us . I here some of the eyes roll as I mumble the words Dreamworld ( people think screaming kids , long lines , commercial = worst nightmare) . O.k and commercial it is . However post visit when I think of dreamworld I think smiling faces - faces of amazement if I could have only captured more of this and bottled it. It really was worth the visit and very age appropriate for a Madagascar loving 4 year old and 18 month old wiggle lover. I definitely recommend it. We had great weather , lines where at a controllable wait time for an 18 month old and the smiles they really did not disappear all day . So Dreamworld overload here we come .

Mini Break

I couldn't resist a few pictures from the weekend . We headed to Brisbane to get some warm weather. Winter has been very long this year with an overload of flu and our youngest being one sick little boy .Brisbane you did not disappoint .We felt the warm sun on our backs , the sand between our toes and the fresh breeze from the ocean. Our little mini getaway gave us the instant boost that we needed to reboot . The photos speak for themselves the kids had a great time and we where all so happy to feel the sand between our toes again .

It 's book week

As I am sure you are aware it is book week and most schools or Kinder's ask kids to dress up as there favourite book character . I went on the search for some cute already made outfits and there really isn't much out there beside the typical super hero's , or pirates for boys. So Mum's trusty DIY was put to the task with a task of creating a Cat in the Hat costumer . Sebastian adores a lot of the books by Dr Seuss and his favourite is what he calls Hop on Pop. Any way he enjoyed helping make his outfit and he was so excited to head off to Kinder in his Cat in the hat outfit - The only problem was I only made one and Little O also wanted in on the action - Next year baby O joined in with a token nose and whiskers .
